Valuing your potential We’ll support you to succeed as an RCVS-qualified Veterinary Nurse or Equine Veterinary Nurse, with the clinical and professional skills to provide high-quality animal patient care. You’ll engage with key sector challenges through lectures and a research project, if you're studying an Honours degree, and develop into a forward-thinking professional, Our BSc students complete a one-year clinical placement, while our DPS students already work in practice. By immersing yourself in the profession, you'll apply the theory in a real-life setting and develop your hands-on expertise, ready to become a competent member of a veterinary nursing team. Our animal collection, livestock farm and equine and canine therapy centres provide plenty of extra volunteering opportunities. Valuing your future The thing that sets our BSc Honours degrees apart frommost other veterinary nursing qualifications is the research dissertation in your final year.
