Learn how to examine, manage and rehabilitate injuries with athletes and members of the public. You'll develop your expertise as you study subjects in sports medicine and science. Teaching and learning reflects the realities of day-to-day life in practice, and incorporates academic and transferable skills, so you’ll be industry ready from day one. Benefit from plenty of opportunities to gain hands-on experience on our professional-style sports campus. You could be assisting first aid pitchside or working as part of our sports injury clinic. Industry opportunities You’ll undertake a minimum of 200 hours of in-practice work experience. The optional integrated placement year will give you the opportunity to gain valuable industry experience. You could work with athletes, teams and industry events on campus. We have strong links within Gloucestershire, to ensure you're industry ready when you graduate. This course is ideal for those who have a passion for sport and exercise and want to work with athletes and the general population to prevent injury, treat and rehabilitate for peak performance.
