Develop the skills you need to become a sport and exercise scientist within a rapidly growing industry. You’ll make the most of our professional-style sports campus as you learn in our new human performance and biomechanics laboratories. You’ll understand the physiology and science behind the mechanics of movement, sports psychology, health and exercise. You'll then apply your theoretical knowledge as you work with athletes to improve their performance in a holistic manner, looking at both physical and psychological qualities. As you progress, you’ll tailor your studies to suit your career goals, getting hands on with both elite and recreational athletes and specialist equipment on campus. Industry opportunities You’ll have opportunities to gain experience outside your course through sports clubs and healthcare services. You’ll be encouraged to complete various qualifications to better understand human growth, exercise, performance and nutrition.
