Complete an undergraduate and postgraduate-level qualification in four years. Benefit from world class facilities including an Equine Therapy Centre, industry-standard science laboratories and horses on site. You'll examine the functioning of the horse's body in detail, understanding the effect that exercise, training, and nutrition have on performance. You'll also investigate the science behind equine health and disease, breeding practices, biomechanics, therapy, and behaviour. Throughout, you'll hear from professionals in lectures and strengthen your learning through practical application. Your first two years will follow the standard BSc route, after which you’ll pursue postgraduate-level modules. Your final-year research project will enable you to investigate an area that fascinates you. Industry opportunities The optional integrated placement year on this degree means you can gain valuable industry experience.
