Our students are challenged to reach newheights in their fields.Working alongside equine scientists, trainers, entrepreneurs and other professionals, they develop their expertise and contribute to research that’s answering the industry’s most pressing questions. If you’re passionate, hard-working andmotivated tomake a difference, we’ll give you the skills and connections to channel this energy into an exciting equine career. From our research to our teaching, we're always looking at how we can advance welfare standards within equestrian sport and the wider equine industry. You’ll learn from the latest scientific research underpinning training, behaviour and welfare, and have the chance to work on industry-linked business briefs. You’ll apply theory to practice in our world-class environment, building valuable industry connections through work placements and guest lectures. Whatever your career aspirations, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to gain experience on and off campus. Develop your expertise in our commercial equine therapy and hydrotherapy centres, brand new equine arena, and Rider Performance Centre, before putting them into practice with a work placement – maximising our reputation and contacts to find your dream position. Our students also gain experience in events and media roles at our NAF Five Star Hartpury International Festival of Dressage and NAF Five Star International Hartpury Horse Trials – and in 2022, at the huge FEI European Championships in Eventing and Dressage for Juniors and Young Riders being held at Hartpury.
