This degree balances practical experience in industry with academic study to give you expertise that employers are looking for. Develop skills in sports leadership, science and coaching to prepare for the competitive sports industry. You’ll learn with industry- standard facilities and have opportunities to work with athletes and teams from our Sports Academies and individuals associated with our community sport partners. You'll study specialist modules in your first year: topics such as sport psychology, sports coaching and exercise physiology will give you insights into different areas, after which you can tailor your studies. Industry opportunities You’ll complete over 140 hours of work experience on this course. This will give you insights into different career pathways as well as experience for your CV. Students work with sports organisations, locally and across the UK, as well as with our own sports teams, including Hartpury University RFC . This course is ideal for those who are passionate about sport and want to undertake an industry-focused qualification before progressing into employment or further study.
