Inspire young people to get active and build essential life skills through sport. You’ll play an important role in improving their physical, social and emotional development. You'll gain skills in a range of activities, looking closely at movement, games, swimming, and outdoor and adventurous activities (OAA). In addition to this, you'll have opportunities throughout your studies to obtain additional qualifications such as the FA Primary and Secondary Teachers' Award, hockey teacher's award and RFU coaching levels. Industry opportunities Supported work placements are central to your development and learning. With the opportunity to undertake up to 200 hours in schools and sports organisations, you'll graduate ready to take your next step. Our students benefit from our partnerships with local organisations, including Active Gloucestershire, Hartpury Primary School, Gloucester and Forest Alternative Provision School, Badminton Independent School, Primary QuEST Multi-Academy Trust and Gloucestershire Cricket. This course is ideal for those who are passionate about using sport and physical activities to improve the lives of young people. Make a difference to the health and wellbeing of young people through physical education and school sports. Gain valuable experience in primary and secondary schools, as well as sports clubs.
