A range of modules will introduce you to successful sports coaching. Subjects such as sport and exercise psychology, and introduction to the sport industry, will help to prepare you for industry. Your second year will see you focus your studies in the direction you want to take your coaching career. You’ll become a coaching mentor to another student and gain valuable experience with young athletes and/or children at primary schools, ready for your next big step. Industry opportunities You’ll gain plenty of hands-on experience with local sports clubs and organisations, as well as with professional athletes and teams through our competitive Sports Academies on campus. As a CIMSPA partner, you’ll learn in line with nationally recognised coaching standards and graduate with the skills you need to be a successful coach.
