You’ll study the principles of sports science on this degree, applying them to equestrian sport. Using real-life case studies, you’ll develop your understanding of both the horse and rider as athletes, from grassroots to elite level. You’ll explore training techniques, coaching and injury, applying what you learn to real-world scenarios using our on-site commercial facilities and sports laboratories. This includes our dedicated rider performance and a human performance lab. As you progress you’ll tailor your learning, depending on your interests and career goals. Industry opportunities The optional integrated placement year on this degree will give you the opportunity to gain valuable industry experience.
