With the world’s population due to increase by almost 40%, to £9.7 billion in 2050, our newAgri-Tech Centre is designed to showcase how the latest agricultural technology can help meet global food challenges. Our Agri-Tech Centre will give our students, farmers and agricultural businesses greater access to commercially-proven technology to help improve the profitability and sustainability of livestock production. Focusing on the tech-to-plate journey, the centre will showcase the production, welfare and financial benefits that technology can bring to farm performance and productivity. You’ll be exposed to the latest in smart farming, through on-farm demonstrations, technology and research, ready for your future career.
