"Nutrition is the fundamental building block of an animal’s health and wellbeing. If you get that right, the health and productivity of the animal will generally be at an optimum. It’s great to see students putting their knowledge into practice on our dairy unit. They analyse the physical characteristics of the feed against the ruminant health of the animals eating it. This way the science is applied and comes together for them."
