Earn while you learn

There are a number of opportunities for you to earn some extra cash while you’re studying at Hartpury. These include being a student ambassador, making the most of an integrated placement year and getting a part-time job. There’s plenty on offer – we’ve popped a few recommendations below. Student ambassador We have a great team of over 60 student ambassadors who represent Hartpury at different events. As a student ambassador, you’ll be paid per hour on a casual contract, which means you can work the hours that suit you. Following a successful interview you’ll receive training and support to build your skills and experience. Students will receive details on applying to become a Student Ambassador after they’ve enrolled onto their course in September. Integrated placement year Some of our courses have the option for students to take an integrated placement year. This allows you to gain invaluable work experience and skills, as well as the potential to earn some money for a year before you come back to finish your degree. Hartpury Innovation, Careers and Enterprise (ICE) As well as providing industry relevant opportunities and placements to complement your studies, the ICE team work closely with academic teams to deliver careers and employability learning activities. The team can also offer 1:1 business advisor consultations for any budding entrepreneurs.
