A dedicated wellbeing team Our Student Wellbeing team includes qualified counsellors, nurses, and wellbeing officers to provide guidance when you need it. We'll also advise you how to register with the local doctor. We run a calendar of wellbeing and inclusivity activities to help you stay healthy and happy, including sessions with our much-loved therapy dog, Ralph. Student Assistance Programme When you need a little extra help, our Student Assistance Programme (SAP) offers support at any time of the day or night via a confidential helpline. This includes financial and legal advice, medical information, counselling and bereavement, relationship and wellbeing guidance, and help managing stress. Find out more when you get here. Academic support You’ll be assigned an academic tutor to support you in your studies. If you need extra advice, the team at the Achievement and Success Centre (ASC) can make a big difference. They run study skills workshops and offer advice and guidance on a whole range of subjects, from academic writing and referencing to revision Our Disability and Learning Support team is here to help students with learning differences, mental health and physical conditions, as well as individuals from the neurodivergent community. We also have a Wellness Development team who can advise with practical support. Please let us know about your needs as soon as possible so that we can help to arrange support. Dedicated international support If you're an international student, we'll give you all the support and advice you need even before you arrive.
