At the heart of our vision to develop veterinary nurses that meet and exceed the needs of employers, our new Veterinary Nursing and Technical Skills Centre will offer a state-of-the-art learning space, providing an engaging and structured learning experience for students, staff and industry. You’ll spend 1,800 hours in an approved RCVS veterinary nursing clinical practice in your second year. Our links with veterinary practices provide exciting veterinary practice based learning opportunities. In your final year, you’ll share your expertise with first-year students to help their development and also gain valuable coaching experience for the future. You’ll also enhance your specialist knowledge with a research project.
