Student life at Hartpury
There’s plenty to keep you busy outside lectures. Discover new hobbies through our clubs and societies, take up a recreational sport or do CV boosting volunteering. Whether attending a big event or relaxing in our on-campus bar, your student experience will be full of memories. Students’ Union Hartpury Students’ Union (SU) run an exciting range of clubs and societies, including Agriculture Society, Cheer Society, Equestrian Club, Hockey Club, Wildlife Society and networks such as the LGBT+ Society and Christian Union. A key part of the SU is representing student’s voices through their student Reps. They also promote positive wellbeing initiatives, cost-of-living support, volunteering roles, employability support and extra opportunities to get involved in. There are a wide range of activities to get involved in – from games nights in Legends to Yoga with Hartpury Active. You can find the weekly timetable via the SU website. A highlight of the year is always our popular Summer Ball - past acts have included Rak-Su, Sigma, Katy B, Scouting for Girls, Labrinth, and Chase and Status. Freshers Freshers’ Week is a timetable of immersive activities, designed to help students settle in to university life and lay the foundations for life-long friendships. The busy calendar of events include an open air cinema, quiz night, Glos Vegas bar crawl and Freshers’ Fair. Uni Life Programme Our Uni Life Programme is here to enhance your experience at Hartpury. Look out for various events and workshops that will be on offer to help improve your life skills, wellbeing and social experience.
