CAMPUS A SOCIAL
When it’s time to shut the laptop, our campus offers lots of places to meet up with friends for a coffee, take a walk or try something new. With 360 hectares to explore, cafes and restaurants, clubs and societies, and sports and equestrian competitions, you'll always find something to suit your mood. Our close-knit community means that you'll get to know your classmates well. Many are likely to become part of your future, as mentors, colleagues or lifelong friends.
their sights on a podium place. Our research highlights the links between physical activity and mental health – we therefore encourage all students and staff to reap these benefits through recreational sport to suit their interests and timetables. Students’ Union clubs and societies Our Students’ Union make the most of what our students are interested in, running a range of clubs and societies to keep you occupied outside your studies – from grassroots Equestrian and Hockey clubs to Agriculture and LGBT+ societies. Great news, you can also set up your own club or society if you have other interests that you want to share with other students! Spectator sport If spectator sport is more your style, we host sports matches and events all year round, from college and university competitions and our Championship and Premiership women’s rugby matches to prestigious international equestrian events. From our Hartpury University FC, Hartpury Futsal Club and Hartpury Netball Club matches on campus to the NAF Five Star Hartpury Showjumping Spectacular, Hartpury Festival of Dressage, and International Hartpury Horse Trials – there really is something for everyone.
