TRANSFORMING THE BEHAVIOUR OF PET OWNERS

“Through my work at Woodgreen Pets Charity, I’m constantly asking how we can make the world better for pets. Although I work in the pet welfare sector, I find that the key lies in people – both present and future pet guardians. Supported by Hartpury, this has led me to pursue a PhD that explores how we can use psychological modelling to understand and change the behaviour of pet owners. My aim for the future is to implement these insights into actionable interventions, empowering organisations like Woodgreen to enhance the wellbeing of pets through positive shifts in pet owner behaviour."
