From developing specialist skills to creating new knowledge, our students immerse themselves in what they love both inside and outside their learning. Industry experience Our postgraduate students benefit from access to voluntary and internship roles in our commercial campus businesses. This could include supporting the management of our 70-species animal collection, rehabilitating dogs or horses in our specialist therapy centres, helping to develop sustainable farming systems on our commercial farm, and experiencing the world of international sports and equestrian events.

Research experience Addressing a range of real-world challenges, our Communities of Practice will enable you to connect with people from different backgrounds in areas you’re passionate about. From inspiring young people with science and supporting Paralympians to break world records to protecting endangered species and promoting the role of animals for mental health, our communities will enable you to play an active role in the bigger picture outside your studies.
