World-class achievements Our professional facilities enable us to work at the very top levels of sport. We’ve produced over 250 international athletes across different disciplines; 11 alumni participated in the 2022 Six Nations mens Championship squads, and we've developed our own Hartpury University RFC Championship team, the only one at a UK university. Alongside athletic success, our postgraduates work as analysts, coaches, business managers and more in top-level sport. Many of our teaching staff play active roles at these levels too, applying insights from the world of professional sport in their teaching. Learning from experts Our outstanding teaching staff skilfully combine knowledge, research, and practical experience to provide insights across the full sport and exercise spectrum. Our commitment to engaging with a wide range of issues leads us to teaching and research collaborations that fuse ideas and evidence from a range of disciplines. Alongside working with sports professionals, you’ll have access to sport science and rehabilitation staff across our departments to help synthesise the best thinking for your unique learning pathway. Connecting with business Our Hartpury Sports Business Hub provides access to a range of organisations including Active Gloucester, Sport England, Forest of Dean Council, Bream RFC and Hockey Wales as well as multinational corporations and independent businesses for research and volunteering. It is with these organisations that you will be able to carry out your very own 60-credit Sports Business Consultancy Project, boosting your employability, expanding your learning and networks, and giving you real-world experience.
