A UNIQUE
APPROACH
"Workingwith a domestic animal to protect awild one is something I never dreamed Iwould be doing. It has somuch potential to improve hedgehog conservation methods in the future. I’ve beenworking with my supervisor on hedgehog conservation projects since I started my undergraduate degree. I attended a hedgehog walk during my Freshers' Week and haven’t stopped since. It’s been the most incredible experience. My MRes project is focused onworking with Henry, a professionally trained detection dog, to find effective solutions to detect hedgehogs and protect their habitat. Being able to contribute to the bigger picture through science is why I left my job for a master’s degree."
