Our government backed Digital Innovation Farm project is placing us as a leading national voice in agri-science, with our £2 million Agri-Tech Centre, a showcase for new technology and research. You’ll have access to our successful commercial farm, supplying Müller, as well as a network of smart farming professionals who are carving out sustainable ways of working across the entire supply chain, improving productivity, as well as animal and farmer health and wellbeing.

Our Animal and Agriculture department brings two important specialisms, merging science with hands-on learning. Within each discipline we have expert lecturers, researchers and industry practitioners who are leading professional practice and producing world-leading and internationally relevant research. A diverse animal kingdom As an animal postgraduate student, you’ll have access to over 70 species on campus, as part of our animal collection, including amphibians, birds, fish, mammals, reptiles and invertebrates. Our 360-hectare rural estate also provides the ideal space for important conservation projects.
