CV Workshop This workshop is designed to help students create an impactful CV. Drawing on current employment and labour market information, the session outlines the purpose of a CV, appropriate content and tips for design and layout. The interactive activities allow students to identify their own transferable skills, experience and interests – perfect for creating a great CV.
Having a healthy mindset at university This interactive presentation outlines the importance of mental resilience and managing anxiety during transitional stages of the student journey, explaining where anxiety comes from and the impact it can have on everyday lives. It will also provide practical tips designed to boost mindset, confidence and help setting goals.

Maximise your research with university events This presentation aims to empower students to make the most of their time researching into universities and understanding the essentials when attending future HE events. Their journey will begin with attending career fairs or large higher education exhibitions, university open days and applicant days. We’ll discuss key aspects to look out for on the day, what questions to ask and the benefits of attending, which will ensure they leave each event with a clear understanding.
Writing a personal statement
A step-by-step guide on topics to discuss, the order of their content and how students can highlight their qualifications, skills and experience. It also covers how students identify their key attributes and how to utilise work experience and extracurricular activity to support a higher education application.
