Hartpury Outreach for Schools & Colleges

As well as our core outreach activities, we offer subject specific workshops to ignite passions in young people. It’s never too early for students to start thinking about their future. With Hartpury’s global reputation in agriculture, animal, equine, sport and veterinary nursing, students can experience learning from some of the very best academics. All of our workshops can be carried out at our 360-hectare Gloucestershire campus using a wide selection of our outstanding facilities, while some workshops can be offered off-site at schools or colleges. Our workshops can be tailored , meaning they can be completed in school lesson times.

Careers in... Agriculture | Animal | Equine | Sport

We have a set of four interactive workshops focusing on careers within that subject specialism.

Each workshop will provide students with key industry statistics, specific career profiles and will highlight the current skills shortages in those expanding industries. The workshops will also look at how to get a career within that sector and the different higher education qualifications available including postgraduate options, as well as information on competitive graduate schemes, studying abroad and useful websites to support students careers research.

Duration: 45 to 60 minutes Method of delivery: Face-to-face on or off campus, or virtual.
