University student finance explained This presentation provides an in-depth look at financial support packages available from the Student Loans Company and universities. This includes tuition fee loans, maintenance loans, bursaries and scholarships. It also covers the application process, repayment process and eligible criteria.

Speaking with confidence This workshop has been specifically designed to help anyone and everyone to feel better about speaking in front of an audience, no matter the size. The workshop has been developed using a number of different styles of public speaking, and the techniques are delivered to, and practised in small groups. The workshop is led by Rich Whincup, Hartpury lecturer and inspirational speaker.

Preparing for interviews

Interviews are a vital stage of many application processes so being prepared may be the key to success. Students attend formal interviews for colleges, universities, work placements and jobs. In this workshop, students will be provided with an overview of what to expect from an interview, how to prepare using a range of different techniques and what to do on the day.

Designed to introduce student finance, this workshop tackles myths associated with higher education funding, and looks at smart ways to manage money. Students will have the opportunity to practise budgeting skills and learn top money saving tips, highlighting the importance of maths, .
