Ambition Hartpury Agriculture’s vision is to provide internationally recognised and inclusive agricultural teaching, research and knowledge exchange that develops skills and attributes in our students in an applied and industry relevant setting for the agri-food industry. Rationale Hartpury’s specialist agricultural campus aims to become the most technically advanced campus for agricultural education, research, and business support. Our plans build on £4.5M of recent investment to deliver a student-facing, industry-connected facility that will enable Hartpury graduates to innovate and make a substantial contribution to the agricultural economy.

› A much-needed facility to provide a world-class experience to support industry collaboration and demonstrate the positive application of technology to students, farmers, and visitors in an accessible way. › Specialist science, environment and technology laboratories and studios, and state-of-the-art agricultural engineering workshops.

To continue to drive research and innovation in agricultural technology and the future of farming, we seek further investment in Hartpury’s Farm and Technology Park. The next phase of the Digital Innovation Farm project will accelerate our ambitions to grow three specific areas: Farm - Applying the latest technology across the farm’s enterprises to automate applied farm operations – in new farm buildings, automation, robotic equipment and building modifications and adaptations.

Agri-Tech Centre - Investment in research staff and students. Attract people with specialist agricultural expertise in data management interpretation with additional equipment to support growth in postgraduate teaching, research degree programmes and our knowledge transfer activities.

Tech Box Park - The rural economy is undergoing unprecedented change and

requires specialist support. Home to our resident agri-tech businesses, our Tech Box Park facility will be complemented with six additional new modular units. Our specialist agricultural technology, environmental and digitalisation business cluster will be expanded within our new industry zone on the agricultural campus, with the addition of specialist facilities to include: › The Gloucestershire Rural Navigation Network › National Centre for Agricultural Data Management › Environmental Technology Monitoring Centre › An Education Business and Research Unit
