OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM

The benefit of studying as part of a supportive and likeminded community is that there’s plenty on offer for you to get involved with to enrich your learning experience outside your studies. Volunteering Each subject area offers a range of different voluntary roles in our commercial businesses on campus for postgraduate students. You can find out more about this when you start your studies. Opportunities could include gaining experience at our international equestrian events, in our animal therapy and rider performance centres and on our commercial farm.

Master’s assistant roles Applying for and securing one of our

teaching or research roles can be a great way to earn money alongside your studies, whilst developing your skills as part of real-world projects. They’re available for both UK-based and international students. www.hartpury.ac.uk/masters-assistants Postgraduate studentships Complement your postgraduate study with important real-world research through a paid postgraduate studentship. Offered across our research specialisms of sport and exercise sciences, equine performance and animal welfare, a studentship will enable you to develop specialist knowledge and skills, as well as gain experience and transferable skills for the world of employment. www.hartpury.ac.uk/pgstudentship

backgrounds in areas you’re passionate about, enabling you to contribute to projects that are making a difference in a range of important areas. www.hartpury.ac.uk/cop
