One Welfare Welfare is at the heart of everything we do. Your learning will be underpinned by the principles of the global One Welfare project. You’ll learn to optimise the welfare of horses, humans and the environment in decision-making. Frommaximising community engagement in best practice to counteracting UK-wide and international welfare issues, our students and staff are helping to implement One Welfare on campus and in their own careers. Ethics in practice A recent MSc Equine Science research study has inspired new ways of thinking about the benefits of equine assisted therapy for young people with autism, working with British business Sirona Therapeutic Horsemanship.
