“I researched many institutions and found that none could top the quality of learning, facilities and links that Hartpury has. From an early age, I've been striving to get into veterinary medicine and Hartpury’s role in my career development has been outstanding. With the bonus of studying on a beautiful campus, Hartpury has been the cornerstone of teaching me the value of work-life balance; I was able to study and work towards my goal whilst simultaneously enjoying time with my horse on site. I’ve also gained significant transferable skills, including organisation, employability and professional-communication best practices.”

“We regularly have Hartpury students on work placement and find they’re really willing to work hard. It’s a fantastic opportunity for them to put their theoretical knowledge into practice in the real world and develop new skills. It’s great for us too – we have 280 young horses at Tweenhills Stud and Hartpury students are a great help with their day-to-day care and management.” Ivo Thomas, Assistant Manager at Tweenhills Stud
