"My role focuses on trying to minimise the environmental impact of fishing activities at a policy level in Scotland. I believe fisheries policy is a key area in marine environmental management. My hope is to continue working towards ocean conservation, restoration and enhancement – so we can all enjoy the benefits that our seas provide in the long term. My Animal Management course at Hartpury gave me the opportunity to learn in a different way and prepared me for university life."
