A-levels A-levels are traditional academic
BTEC diplomas BTEC diplomas are specialist applied qualifications, built around specific industry-standards and linked to skills
qualifications, ideal for students who enjoy classroom-based learning. We offer 14 A-level subjects at Hartpury. Our students study three A-levels each, with dedicated time outside their learning spent developing new expertise through enrichment activities as part of our Hartpury Certificate (page 5-6). T Levels (Newfor 2024) T Levels are technical programmes designed in collaboration with employers to give you the applied skills and knowledge to enter a technical career. You'll gain plenty of hands on experience as you spend at least 45 days working in industry to hone your skills. Read
Access to Higher Education Diplomas The Access to Higher Education Diploma qualification prepares students aged 19 years and older for university-level study. It’s ideal for those who would like to progress their careers through higher education, but who left school without the qualifications needed to do so. Studied across 15 hours per week, it can be combined with existing commitments. See pages 99-102 to find out more. required for employment. They’re well suited to those who want a more practical learning experience, while deciding whether they want to progress into employment or university level study. Assessment is undertaken through coursework and exams. We offer BTEC diploma qualifications at different levels. Check the table to the right and see the course pages for specific entry requirements.

These one-year courses combine practical and theoretical study. You'll gain a solid foundation of knowledge, ready to progress onto a Level 3 qualification.
