Work experience opportunities Work experience is an important part of our students’ learning experience. It’s a fantastic opportunity to experience your subject area in the real world. You’ll gain practical experience as you try different jobs and explore your career options. In addition to your external work experience, you'll have access to nine commercial businesses and big industry events on campus – from research conferences, to equine and sports events – for plenty of extra CV-boosting volunteering opportunities. Commercial experience on campus Our students work in teams to develop core skills; gaining practical expertise alongside important employability skills. Depending on their course, they learn how to manage our commercial farm, animal collection or livery yard, carry out equine or canine training in our international arenas, or develop coaching skills in our state-of-the-art sports facilities.
