Scholarships and Bursaries

There are several packages available to support you through your studies at Hartpury College. Bursaries and scholarships do not need to be paid back. You can apply for financial support from 1 April in the same year you’re joining us. The following bursaries are available to UK-based students only, for information about international scholarships and bursaries visit www.hartpury.ac.uk/college-bursaries You can find application forms and timelines for applying on our website: www.hartpury.ac.uk/college-finance Discretionary Learner support: All full-time college students regardless of age are eligible to apply for a Learner Support Fund award. This fund is means-tested (dependent on household income) and priority is given to those on low income who would otherwise find it difficult to attend college. To be eligible for this fund, household income should be less than £25,000 per annum. This could cover: the education visits fee, books, equipment, daily meal allowance or transport for non-residential students. Vulnerable Learner Bursary: Students who meet the criteria, and have a financial need, can apply for a bursary for vulnerable groups. The bursary for vulnerable groups can pay up to £1,200 per year. The defined vulnerable groups are students who are: • In care • Care leavers • In receipt of Income Support, or Universal Credit in place of Income Support, in their own right • In receipt of Employment and Support Allowance or Universal Credit and Disability Living or Personal Independence Payments in their own right
