Your enrolment is online this year, so it’s different to last time. Check your next steps below and find out more inside your pack.
Read this Enrolment Pack It includes details about things you need to do now, what happens during your online enrolment (August) and online induction (September). Read more on pages 3-6. Set up with self-service Set up with self-service before the end of July 2023, so you can change your password for your Hartpury email, if required. You'll need access to your Hartpury email to enrol online. Make your payments Find details about payments and the financial support available on page 3. Well done You’ve put in lots of hard work this year. We're really impressed with how much you've already achieved in your first year. It's a great foundation for success in the final year of your course. But for now, it’s time to relax and enjoy a well-earned break. Over the next few months, you could gain extra work experience* for your CV, spend time with friends and family, and enjoy some of the great events on campus. With a packed schedule of equine competitions – including our NAF Five Star International Hartpury Horse Trials, Hartpury Festival of Dressage, and Showjumping Spectacular – you could join us as a spectator or watch full coverage online. Follow us on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook to keep up to date with news and events over the summer. Remember to let us know what you’re up to using #HartpuryFamily – we’ll share our favourite pictures with our followers. We look forward to welcoming you back to Hartpury College in September. Your enrolment is an important part of coming back to Hartpury. Please complete the following steps now, to ensure a smooth transition into your second or third year. Getting ready for enrolment
Additional payments If you’ve been allocated a place in accommodation, livery, or transport, are joining one of our Sports Academies, or would like to become a gym member, there will be some additional costs. • Accommodation and livery If you’ve secured a place in accommodation or livery, you've already paid your deposit and set up your payment plan. You'll receive your payment schedule after you enrol. Sports Academy membership, £120 If you’re already a member, or joining this year, you'll need to pay for membership for the year. This includes training with top-quality coaches, access to our world class facilities, transport, and our Sports Academy Performance Hub. Gym membership, £120 If you’d like membership for our gyms, you’ll need to pay for the year. Visit our website to pay for your Sports Academy and/or gym membership. estore.hartpury.ac.uk/product catalogue/sport Step 3: Reapply for transport If you live locally and would like to use our Home-to-College bus service to travel to and from Hartpury, you can book and pay for this now using Zeelo. You must apply for your college transport by 30 July 2023 to secure a place for September. Visit our website for details on how to set up your Zeelo account, browse our routes, find your nearest stop, check the cost, and book your annual ticket. Now Step 1: Set up self-service
You'll have already received an email from us (1 June 2023) about setting up self-service. Please make sure you do this before you leave for the summer, to ensure you're able to get into your Hartpury email. This is where we'll send details about your online enrolment. Read more about this on page 4. Step 2: Make your payments There are some fees to pay before you start, including the educational visits fee for all students. • Educational visits fee, £75 Field trips, visits, and external speakers are an important part of your student experience. This fee contributes to the cost of speakers, transport for off-site
visits, and entry to shows, events, museums, competitions, and many other attractions.

International students If you’re a returning international student, we will need to check your passport or ID documents and Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) when you return. We’ll take new copies of your documents to update your immigration record on file. You’ll need to bring a laptop with you to complete your studies. Please make sure it meets our laptop minimum specification. Check our guidance at www.hartpury.ac.uk/laptop-guidance What does it include? As part of your online enrolment, you'll complete your Hartpury College regulations form, learning agreement, and your trip consent form, and update your contact details/ next of kin. You'll also see links to our payment portal. If you haven't already made your payments, you can do this at the same time. What will I need? • Your Hartpury log-in and access to your Hartpury email account. • If you're under 18, you'll need to have your parents/carers with you, as they will need to sign some forms. These electronic forms will be sent to you via email. A bank card to pay your educational visits fee (£75), if you haven't already. Please note that to be invited to enrol online, you'll need to meet the minimum requirements for progression. Please contact your tutor if you have any questions or concerns. Bring your laptop •
Step 4: Buy your kit If you need new sports kit or course clothing, you can buy this online now. If you order it now, it'll arrive in plenty of time for September. Visit www.hartpury.ac.uk/shop International students: You can order your kit now and have it delivered directly to Hartpury or wait until you arrive to place your order online. The delivery address is: Student Services, Hartpury College, Gloucester, GL19 3BE – please remember to add your name. Step 5: Update your contact details We'll send you an SMS notification when online enrolment opens in August (see step 6 for details). To ensure you get this message, please check and update your contact details via MyHartpury now. August Step 6: Complete your online enrolment In August, we'll send an email to your Hartpury account inviting you enrol online. This email will include the link and full guidance – so it's really important you set up self-service now (see step one for details) and gain access to your Hartpury email account. Check your online enrolment date below. 1 August: A-level and BTEC Extended Diploma students where conditions have been met. 18 August: BTEC students i.e Foundation Diploma and Extended Certificate, waiting on exam results to determine progression. Please ensure you complete your online enrolment by 31 August 2023.

Your Hartpury College enrolment
We're looking forward to welcoming you back to Hartpury College in September 2023 for the next year on your course.
• Your residential welcome, 10.30am 4.30pm at Student Services If you're moving into Hartpury accommodation on campus, you'll have a designated move-in time slot. Find all the information you need on the next page. Student livery If you've secured a place in our DIY student livery, this is when you'll move you horse in. Our Livery team will be in touch with more details. Check your livery packing list at www.hartpury.ac.uk/comingtohartpury Getting to college If you live in the local area and want to travel on our Home-to-College bus service provided by Zeelo (see page 3), please ensure you've set up your Zeelo account and downloaded the app. This will give you a QR code ticket for the bus driver to scan, as well as travel updates. Visit www.hartpury.ac.uk/college-transport Once you've enrolled Your course will start the following week, Monday 11 September 2023. Keep your ID card Make sure you keep your ID somewhere safe. You'll use the same one when you return in September 2023. However, you'll get a new card if: • you turn 18 over the summer • you change residential status. If this is the case, we'll be in touch with you to organise a new ID card. If you've lost your card, you'll need to visit Student Services when back on campus to arrange and pay for a new one. •
We've moved to online enrolment, so the process will be different to what you did last year. Here's what will happen. August 2023: Your online enrolment You'll receive an email to your Hartpury email address inviting you to enrol online – check your date on page 4. We’ll also send you an SMS notification, so make sure your contact number is up to date (see page 4). Please complete your online enrolment by 31 August 2023 to help us make your re enrolment to Hartpury as smooth as possible. you'll need to have with you. Monday 4 September 2023: Agriculture inductions on site. If you're studying one of the following courses, you'll come on site for your induction at the following time: • Agricultural apprenticeships, 10am • Level 3 Extended Diploma Agriculture year two (middle year placement students), 3.30pm Wednesday 6 – Thursday 7 September 2023: Your online induction Your online induction will take place on both of these days. Your tutor will be in touch with the link to join. During your online induction, you'll receive your timetable and find out everything you need to know about beginning the next year of your course. Then you'll be all ready to get started with your academic lessons. Friday 8 September 2023 There are several things happening on this day, so make sure you read the following carefully to see if any of this applies to you. Turn back to page 4 for more details about what will happen and what

College inset days Inset days are additional days off for A-level, diploma, and Access to HE students. Check your inset dates in the term dates table on the previous page. You won’t be required in college on these dates, although tutors may require attendance to catch up on any outstanding work. If you’re an equine student with livery and the inset day falls on a Monday, you may be able to return with your horse on the Sunday. You’ll need to get permission from the Director of Equine.
