Your residential briefing Next, you’ll attend your Student Residential Briefing, led by your Residential Support Officer. At the same time, your parent/carer will attend an essential briefing on residential life, safeguarding, and their responsibilities as a parent/carer. This will be held by our Chief People Officer, Head of Safeguarding, Wellbeing and Health, and Head of Residential Life and Residential Services. Please see the table below for your allocated briefing time

Evening BBQ, 5pm onwards After you’ve said goodbye to your parents/carers, join us for a BBQ and team building activities with your housemates. It’s a great way to make friends and start to feel at home at Hartpury. Please follow these times for food service at the BBQ; Rudgeley and New Vicarage, 5pm Dingle 1, 5.30pm Catsbury, 6pm Dingle 2, 6.30pm Monday 7 September 2026 You’ll have breakfast with members of the Residential team and other students from your accommodation before taking part in fun activities and team building workshops hosted by ‘Loudspeaker’ with your new friends at the Equine Centre. Tuesday 8 - Friday 11 September 2026 Check pages 11-12 to find the enrolment date and time for your course. Once you’ve enrolled, you’ll be in college for the full day, as well as the rest of the week for your first academic sessions. Until then, you’ll continue to take part in residential induction and workshops with our Residential team and settle into your accommodation. Your Residential induction timetable is available for you to collect from Heroes lounge, your common room. Saturday 12 - Sunday 13 September 2026 Join more activities on Saturday as a great way to meet people and get to know our campus. For a thrilling end to the week, why not spend the day at Thorpe Park? In August, we’ll send more details on these activities and how to book the Thorpe Park trip (146 spaces, circa £50 per student, which includes your entry ticket and coach travel to and from campus). In the evenings, there will be activities for you and your new friends to get involved in.
It is a requirement that all students must have completed your 'Additional Information Form' prior to moving into accommodation.
