College inset days Inset days are additional days off for A-level, diploma, and Access to HE students. Check your inset dates in the term dates table on the previous page. You won’t be required in college on these dates, although tutors may require attendance to catch up on any outstanding work. If you’re an equine student with livery and the inset day falls on a Monday, you may be able to return with your horse on the Sunday. You’ll need to get permission from the Director of Equine. If you are on rota for land-based duties, you may need to attend on inset days.
