Over £10million has been invested in the world-class Sports Academy . Students excel both in the classroom and in the sporting arena, with Hartpury Sports Academies winning 19 titles and championships in the current academic year across a plethora of sports. More than 250 professional athletes have progressed through the Hartpury Dual Career Pathway and the institution has a strong reputation for producing men’s and women’s rugby players that excel on the world stage.

Hartpury University and College is home to 4,600 students studying A-levels, college diplomas, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in subjects including animal, agriculture, business management, equine, sport, veterinary nursing, and uniformed protective services. Hartpury is also one of the region’s largest employers with more than 600 staff. Hartpury College retains Ofsted Outstanding and Hartpury University was awarded triple Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF 2023).

The 360-hectare rural campus is home to 11 businesses including canine hydrotherapy, equine therapy and a commercial farm. The Digital Innovation Farm is home to an Agri-Tech Centre - a hub for agri-technology research , and a Tech Box Park - a hub for innovative businesses and start-ups. The focus on business partnerships within the local and regional community as well as nationally and further afield is strong. These include in areas such as research, knowledge exchange and commercial sponsorship.
