Bring your horse

We’re a big equine education centre with stabling for 230 horses. So if you want to bring your horse on livery while you study with us, you can rest assured they’ll be in a safe and secure environment. Our on-campus livery is offered on a DIY basis.

Our world-class facilities include • American style barns and outdoor stabling, all with rubber mat flooring • Two horse walkers • Four indoor and two outdoor areas plus a lunging arena • All-weather hacking route around the estate for off-road hacking • Limited turnout • Access to the Equine Therapy Centre facilities – including a water treadmill, high-speed treadmill, weighbridge, the Margaret Giffen Centre for Rider Performance and solarium Livery students receive discounted entry fees to unaffiliated shows run by Hartpury and there are inter-barn challenges which take place throughout the year.

There are also a number of livery yards in the area, many of which are smaller and offer additional grazing. This might be an option if our large yard and busy environment aren’t quite what you’re looking for. Some yards also offer accommodation options – ideal if you want to live near your horse. We offer livery students discounted rates on Baileys horse feed and a Baileys nutritionist can offer individual diet recommendations for your horse.
