As part of this employability programme you can take skills-based courses, get careers guidance and boost your CV through valuable work placements. Learning and disability support If you have specialist learning or disability needs, we’ll make sure you have the support and guidance you need. If you haven’t already, your first step is to let us know, so please get in touch using the contact details on the back page as soon as you can. That way we can make sure you have the support you need in place, ready for when you get here. If you need to apply for Disabled Students’ Allowances (DSA) to cover extra costs due to illness or disability, our disability adviser will guide you through the process. DSAs can help cover disability-related costs of studying such as study skills tuition, medical equipment, IT equipment and software, and extra travel costs.
