Getting your kit, equipment and books You’ll spend a lot of your time getting hands-on in practical sessions, developing your specialist skills. To keep you safe as you learn, you’ll need to get some essential kit and equipment. You can also start familiarising yourself with the key themes in your subject by doing some summer reading. You’ll be ready to dive into your degree in September. Make sure you buy this in advance and bring it to your Welcome Week. You’ll need it to take part in some of your practical activities. While it doesn’t need to be Hartpury-branded, you might like to buy your kit from our website. We work with trusted suppliers to ensure the highest quality. Visit www.hartpury.ac.uk/shop Please note, due to Covid-19, our clothing suppliers won’t be attending your WelcomeWeek. We recommend that you place your order online as soon as you can, to ensure it’s delivered to your home address before you start.
